Yosemite Renaissance encourageS and promoteS diverse artistic expressions of Yosemite National Park and the CALIFORNIA SIERRA NEVADA.

Yosemite Renaissance was founded in 1985 in order to "motivate artists to develop diverse interpretations of Yosemite and its varied landscapes." Artists from around the country have been showcased in the annual Yosemite Renaissance exhibit for thirty four years.

The Yosemite Renaissance 34 exhibit includes 62 works by 60 artists from across the country. The exhibit opened at the Yosemite Museum in February, then travels on to other art centers across California. The exhibit is currently on display at Gallery 5 in Oakhurst.
