Artist
Peggy Wyman is a nationally prominent fiber sculptor. She employs the traditional basketry technique of coiling to create non-traditional abstract sculptures using pine needles, Irish waxed linen and a variety of natural and found objects. Over the course of her professional career, her sculptures have appeared in over 80 exhibitions and garnered awards in more than 30 of these, including the Juror’s Award at the prestigious 2007 Contemporary Crafts Exhibition at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Center, Mesa, AZ. Her work has been featured in American Style, Missouri Life and Sedona Monthly.. She is also an historical novelist with two published novels to her credit.
