Artist
Jim Snitzer teaches photography, offset printing and silkscreen at the University of Iowa. He constructs and photographs studio tableau in the form of intricately detailed model sets to explore the cultural myths which surround our relationship to the landscape. His works are held in various public collections, including Museum of Modern Art, New York; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; and The Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Art, Japan.
