Info on donated image:
This image of an aged tree at a rest stop on Four Mile Trail at Yosemite was taken on my last visit to Yosemite in 1999. I used black and white infrared film to emphasize the frail, almost ephemeral quality that even a huge tree can have, and then printed it in color. The image here is a Giclée print on art paper, giving it a painterly quality, while capturing the small details from the original film.-----www.marciareidmarsted.com
