Joan Hoffman paints oils en plein air (outdoors) as she travels throughout the west: Colorado, Utah and California. Recent and current shows include the Yosemite Renaissance, Sebastopol Center for the Arts, Mataurango Museum, Dixon, and The Nature Conservancy's Carpenter Ranch Preserve, Colorado. She is an ardent conservationist, and spends half her time promoting wilderness and preserving the landscapes she paints.
